Student Officer applications open until 12th February. Police Staff Call Handlers also open
Pre-Registration Information
The Police Service of Northern Ireland welcomes applications from all and will consider any reasonable adjustment needs requests from applicants relating to a disability or condition. (This includes hidden disabilities or conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and specific learning difficulties such as Dyslexia).
As independent recruitment agent to the Police Service of Northern Ireland, Deloitte will process and, where appropriate, facilitate such requests.
We recognise that the Reasonable Adjustments Request Process is detailed and that some potential candidates may be unclear as to what might be expected of them.
To enable potential candidates to gain a full understanding
of the Reasonable Adjustments Request Process,
Deloitte is offering an optional public webinar to those
who may be seeking clarity in advance of making an application. The webinar session is voluntary and will be held remotely via a video conferencing service (e.g. Zoom / Teams). It should be noted that the majority of
information available is already posted on the Reasonable Adjustments Request Process page of the JoinPSNI website and via our Reasonable Adjustment FAQs, so please consult there in the first instance before requesting to join the webinar.
If you would like to request to attend the public webinar on this topic please consider the following details. We will provide exact information on timings and preparation to those who pre-register. It is anticipated that the public webinar will take place on the afternoon of Thursday 6th February 2025. (Date and Time to be confirmed).
What the session will cover
During the session Deloitte advisors will provide general guidance on the Reasonable Adjustments Request Process. At the optional webinar we will offer guidance only. Formal /
final decisions in relation to requests of this nature will happen during the relevant phase of the recruitment process in the coming weeks.
The optional public webinar will be operated on a first come, first served basis and places are strictly limited. In all it is expected that the session will last no more than thirty minutes. You are asked to note that the webinar will be an open public session and you will be joining a session which will be attended by other members of the public. You are encouraged to consider this and make your own decision on whether attending an open / public session is right for you.
You should note that all of the information that Deloitte advisors will
be able to offer is already available on the JoinPSNI website. This session is intended for people who wish to seek additional clarity on the Reasonable Adjustment Request Process. If you have already read and understood the published Reasonable Adjustments Request Process, having considered our website guidance, you do not need to attend this webinar. In not attending, you will not be at any
disadvantage, as our advisors will not be able to discuss any matters with
candidates other than generic Reasonable Adjustments Request Process information.
N.B. At the optional public webinar Deloitte advisors cannot discuss matters pertaining to the wider Deloitte Managed Stages or PSNI Managed Stages of the recruitment process. The webinar will cover the Reasonable Adjustments Request Process (relating to a disability or condition) exclusively.
If you prefer us to provide by email guidance rather than request a webinar invitation, you are welcome to email your query and we will respond ASAP.
